Wildfire Resources For UCI Employees

Chief Personnel Officers and Academic Senior Managers,

Academic appointees affected by the recent Wildfires are eligible to utilize the UCI Employee Wildfire Support Program.

Consistent with the guidelines for this support program, academic appointees who are required to report leave taken in the UCI Time Reporting System may request, with their supervisor’s approval, to use Administrative Paid Leave if they were unable to work due to displacement by the wildfires.

For Academic appointees who accrue vacation or have PTOs and were impacted by the wildfires, they may apply for consideration under the Vacation/PTO Payout program.
