Systemwide Review of Proposed Implementation of the Negotiated Salary Trial Program (NSTP) into the Academic Personnel Manual (APM)


Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Michael T. Brown convened a systemwide joint Senate-Administration Taskforce to review the Negotiated Salary Trial Program (NSTP). The Taskforce has made its recommendation to institutionalize the program into Academic Personnel Manual (APM) policy and create a permanent negotiated salary plan.

Attached is the Taskforce’s report and Provost Brown’s letter soliciting input and comments. The report includes the background, assessment, recommendation, and draft of the proposed policy (APM 668). Please circulate this report to the faculty in your school for their review and comment.
