This is a call for nominations to appoint five Inclusive Excellence Professors to serve UCI faculty, supported by a grant for Advancing Faculty Diversity from the UC Office of the President (PIs: Professors Ilona Yim and Nina Bandelj).

Inclusive Excellence Professors will work as advisors to the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development to organize and run faculty development activities. They will also be expected to serve in one-on-one mentoring roles as appropriate for faculty who participate in the grant sponsored activities.

Inclusive Excellence Professors will be UCI faculty at advanced associate rank or higher, who have a demonstrated commitment and a track record of activities that advance inclusive excellence on campus. The term of appointment is for one academic year, with a possibility of renewal. A stipend of $5,000/year will be provided.

Nominations should include a brief cover letter, the nominee’s current CV and inclusive excellence activities statement. Self-nominations are encouraged.
