We are excited to announce, Office of the President has recently extended the eligibility to participate in the Negotiated Salary Trial Program (NSTP) to Professors of Teaching, beginning in the 2019-20 academic year.
Professors of Teaching will be held to the same standards and guidelines as ladder-rank faculty eligible to apply for the program. All requests will be reviewed by the Academic Senate Committee.
Since this approval comes in the midst of the NSTP application submission process, we will be extending the application deadline for Professors of Teaching to be submitted to the Office of Academic Personnel by June 1, 2019. New Professors of Teaching who have a start date of July 1, 2019 will also be eligible to apply, following the same guidelines as ladder-rank faculty.
