Chief Personnel Officers,
In our March 25, 2020 communication, the Council on Academic Personnel and the Vice Provost for Academic Personnel conveyed that student evaluations of teaching for Winter quarter, 2020 and Spring quarter, 2020 will be excluded from future review files unless an individual faculty member chooses to include them. This is also being extended to Fall quarter, 2020.
Please consult each faculty regarding teaching evaluations from these quarters:
- If they elect to include evaluations, they should be discussed as per normal procedures.
- If they elect to exclude evaluations, they should not be included or discussed in review materials.
