Effective May 1, 2023, all applicants who apply to a Senate or Non-Senate recruitment or proposed for a search waiver in AP Recruit will be required to complete and sign the Sexual Misconduct, Harassment and Discrimination Declaration (SVSH) form. This form will replace the Authorization to Release Information form previously used in Ladder-Rank and Professor of Teaching recruitments. New recruitments and waivers created and published on, or after, May 4, 2023, will begin to reflect this change.
It is the responsibility of the hiring unit to first contact acadpers@uci.edu prior to issuing an offer of appointment to a proposed candidate who has answered affirmatively to any of the questions. The Office of Academic Personnel, together with campus partners, will review the matter further and advise the hiring unit on how to best proceed prior to continuing with employment efforts.
