But while the campus may look like it’s snoozing, the academic clock keeps ticking, and so do preparations for merit and promotion. To keep everyone in the loop, we’re hosting a Summer Academic Personnel Update Meeting to share important updates and helpful reminders for the upcoming 2025–2026 review cycle. We’ll be joined by my amazing and tireless staff from the Office of Academic Personnel and our sage guides from the Council on Academic Personnel (CAP) who will be available to answer all your questions. Well, maybe not all, we probably can’t tell you what to make for dinner or name the Zodiac killer. While we are sending this message to our deans, department chairs, and CPOs, you are also welcome to invite your Associate Deans and Department Managers (MSOs/CAOs), because we know none of this gets done without a team.
