The New Faculty Orientation is intended for all new senate faculty. It consists of interactive sessions on active learning and faculty well-being, as well as presentations on academic personnel review process, faculty governance, faculty diversity and inclusion, pedagogy, and working with graduate students. In addition, a panel of faculty will share what they wish they knew in their first year. This year’s program will be delivered in an all-day in-person session in the Yosemite Rooms at Division of Continuing Education. Lunch will be provided.
