The workshop will offer an opportunity for senate associate rank faculty to ask questions related to promotion to the rank of Professor. Members from the Council on Academic Personnel (CAP) and the Vice Provost for Academic Personnel will be present.
There will be no formal presentation, but CAP members will provide some opening comments focused on a few specific topics and best practices regarding merits within the Associate Professor rank and promotions to Professor. Most of the time will be devoted to answering participants’ questions.
This workshop is intended for Associate Professors, Associate Professors of Teaching, Associate Professors of Clinical _, and Associate Professors in Residence.
