The University of California Office of the President invites comments on the following proposed policy:
- APM – 285, Lecturer with Security of Employment Series
The policy is proposed to be revised and includes the following key revisions:
- Revised name of “Lecturer with Security of Employment” (LSOE) series and ranks to “Professor of Teaching.”
- Removal of Appendix A.
The proposed APM – 285 is posted to the Academic Personnel and Programs website.
This policy is being circulated to affected faculty and non-represented non-Senate academic appointees for review and comment.
Comments about the proposed policy should be submitted here. So that we may meet the Office of the President’s response deadline, please submit any comments to the proposed policy revisions by February 28, 2024.
