UCPATH Freeze: Thursday, September 16, 2021 — Wednesday, September 22, 2021

In accordance with guidelines issued by the Office of the President, the University of California is implementing a 3% increase to the salary scales for Ladder Rank Faculty and other academic appointees tied to the Ladder Rank scales effective October 1, 2021. At UCI, this increase will apply to both the on-scale and off-scale salaries.

  • Health Sciences Clinical Professors

Salary Scales

The new salary scales are available on the AP Website.

The new rates for the eligible populations are now in UCPath and will be available moving forward for any transactions with an effective date of October 1, 2021 and after. Any future dated transactions with old rates already entered in UCPath will be adjusted to the new rates during the freeze period.

UCPath Freeze: The freeze only applies to the populations listed above who will have their salary plans adjusted. The freeze period is scheduled for September 16, 2021 through September 22, 2021.

Wednesday, September 15, 2021 LAST DAY TO UPDATE
This is the last day you will be allowed to make any pay component changes in UCPath for the affected population. Pay component changes include changes to job code, employee classification, salary plan, pay rate, etc. New hire, concurrent hire, rehire, termination, retirement, job extension, and short work breaks can continue to be processed.

Do not update/change/delete pay components in UCPath for the affected population during this time.
Thursday, September 23, 2021 ADJUSTMENT COMPLETE
Units may again begin to update pay components for affected population in UCPath.
