UCPath Freeze EXTENDED until further notice for represented Academic Researchers
In accordance with the labor agreement between the United Auto Workers (UAW) and the University of California, represented Academic Researchers (RA) will receive a salary increase effective January 1, 2020 for monthly-paid employees and January 12, 2020, for biweekly-paid employees. A 4% increase will be applied to employees in the Project Scientist and the Specialist series and a 4.5% increase will be applied to employees in the Professional Researcher series.
Unfortunately, we have found a few issues with the Academic Researcher range adjustment. We are currently working with the UCPath Center to correct the issues and will send a follow-up message when it has been completed. In order to correctly implement this increase, we ask that no changes/updates be made in UCPath for the individuals holding appointments in the represented Academic Researcher titles until further notice.
