On or around October 31, 2019, the University and the United Auto Workers have reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract for UC’s academic researchers. This contract was ratified by the UAW membership on November 8, 2019. This is a multi-year agreement, effective from December 9, 2022 through September 30, 2027.
Series affected by this ratification are the Specialist series, Project Scientist series, and Researcher series. Click here for current contract information.
