Numbering publications using the “Permanent Chronological Number” field has been updated in “Intellectual Contributions (Publications, etc.).”
While the use of a strictly numerical indexing scheme (e.g. 1, 2, 3… etc.) in the “Permanent Chronological Number” field has always sorted properly in the generated reports, using a combination of alphabetic and numeric characters (e.g. JA1, JA2, JA3… etc.) to number your publications was problematic. This caused the sorting order of the generated reports to default to a chronological method.
We are happy to report that your publications and other citations should now sort as expected on the reports regardless of your index listing, category labeling or naming convention preferences.
