1020 Anteater Instruction & Research Building (AIRB), Irvine, CA, 92697, United States

The Office of Academic Personnel will be conducting workshops for faculty and staff who would like an introduction to or assistance with myData. myData is the online faculty database that assists faculty in tracking teaching, research and service activities. Once a faculty member’s data is entered into the system using their CV, s/he can extract it to produce a Review Profile which replaces the University Biography and Addendum forms used in an academic review. In addition, it can produce a variety of reports, including but not limited to faculty CVs, and NIH and NSF biosketches. Participants will learn how to populate the various data fields, navigate through the database, and run reports. Faculty and staff are encouraged to bring an electronic version of their CV (or faculty’s CV), or recent CV updates, so that they may receive assistance tailored specifically to their needs. While the workshop is conducted in a computer lab, faculty are also encouraged to bring their own laptop for convenience as their CV would be easily accessible on their personal laptop.
As a reminder, senate faculty are required to submit a Review Profile report (in place of the addendum) with their dossier. Dossiers submitted to the Office Academic Personnel with an addendum will be returned to the faculty and only accepted when it is replaced with a Review Profile.
